HOLIDAY INN & SUITES MANILA GALLERIA BY IHG, Pasig City – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel has an old-world feel to it, with comfortable rooms and grand facilities. The location, connected to the improved Robinson mall, is a definite advantage, although it can be a bit chaotic at times. The variety of dining choices is impressive, especially the indulgent pastries.

The hotel was nice and clean with a sizeable bathroom, but somewhat dated. The service was friendly, helpful, and responsive, especially Ms. from the front desk. Being adjacent to the mall was great, offering easy access to street and dining choices. The dining options cater to various palates but can be overly expensive.

On the last night of our stay, our room smelled of smoke, which was a disappointment since we were on a non-smoking floor. Luckily, the staff quickly moved us to a different room, even at 9 pm. The rooms are not very sound-proof, as we could hear the TV from neighboring rooms, especially since we were in a 1-bedroom suite.

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though spacious and with good ambiance, needed renovation and maintenance due to the age of the building. The service was accommodating and attentive, although it was expensive. The location was convenient, especially with access to a nearby mall, but the dining experience, while friendly, had overly expensive and low-quality food.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were quiet but had a bad smell that required me to use air freshener. Despite some room issues like poor toilet flushing and limited outlets, the thick walls kept it peaceful throughout.
